You can plan a corporate event down to the finest details, but sometimes the unexpected happens and throws a major spanner in the works. When this happens it’s important to have a Plan B. Luckily when you book with Chillisauce we have all, well most, eventualities planned for.
Alphega wanted a day of activities a group of their senior managers in Edinburgh followed by a meal and an overnight stay at a top hotel. Ian based the group at one of Edinburgh’s top hotels and sent them on a Honda pilot racing, clay pigeon shooting and archery day.
Unfortunately after torrential downpours which the group described as being of ‘biblical’ proportions, the Honda pilot racing had to be cancelled for safety reasons. Luckily there’s always a contingency plan in place and the group enjoyed a morning tearing around the Scottish countryside on quad bikes instead. Fortunately the weather eased off in the afternoon; clay pigeons and arrows fly in all conditions and the hotel managed to keep the flood waters at bay!
‘We had a great time at the event. The quads were really good fun. The weather was awful but didn’t hinder our enjoyment. The instructors were very patient with us and the facilities were very good.
Lunch was very nice and we all enjoyed the shooting and archery. Thank you for your event management and efforts. We had a great time.’
